Pledging was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Great people, unforgettable memories and so much more to look forward to. For sure one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Now that pledging is over though, I have to admit that it’s nice to have some time to devote to the other aspects of my life which I couldn’t attend to for the past three months. I just want to be home. I just want to spend time with my family. I just want to relax with no feeling of obligations or impending stress. I guess that’s why I’m relishing this time so much, time that I would say that I’ve earned.

I honestly don’t think I’ll ever truly experience the feeling of complete relaxation. But if anything, at least at this exact moment, it feels close.

Today is what every summer day should feel like. Woke up late, went to the gym, came home, ate ice cream and hung out with my mom, and then went to the park with my mom and Odette to enjoy some sunshine. Now just laying on the couch and watching t.v. while waiting for my mom to finish cooking dinner. The light summer breeze from the windows and the evening sunset are all icing. Cheers.
